Because of the funeral on Monday, we decided to start our lessons today so we don't have to play catch-up. My girls were so into their lesson that they didn't even notice that I took a picture. Like the messy hair? They loved not having to rush in the morning. We didn't get hair done until after lunch time. We probably won't do that every day just because my kids need a good routine, but it was nice without the stress today.

Computer

Our K12 issued computer just came today. The kids were pretty excited to see all of the boxes. I took some time to get it all set up (minus the internet connection). Now we're just waiting on our books. YAY! Here are some pictures.

Adakai also took some time to enjoy our keyboard without the girls trying to take over.

Well the dining room is almost completely transformed. All of our children's books have been relocated to the bookshelf, crayons, pencils, scissors, etc. have been rounded up and are in their drawers, and even our frog tank cupboard has been re-purposed for binders and workbooks. I have our white board and cork board up. We're just waiting for our supplies from IDVA.

Making A Change

So Clint and I have decided to take our children out of the school they're in and teach them at home through Idaho Virtual Academy. We've been talking about it since before Lexi started Kindergarten, and finally decided to just do it. I've sent in all the information the school needs for them to get started so the girls will be starting on January 14th. We're excited. Looks like our dining room will serve a dual purpose and become our learning center as well.
